Johan Kramer is the Consul General at the Consulate General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Toronto/Canada.
>P>Johan holds a degree in Economics from the University of Groningen/the Netherlands and he has held various postings around the world as a representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
From 1998 to 2003 he served as Head of the Economic Section at the Embassy in Paris/France, as Minister Plenipotentiary.
Prior to that he was posted as Councillor for Economic and Financial Affairs, Trade and Developing Cooperation at the Embassy in Beijing/China, and as Deputy Representative at the Permanent Representation by the UN in Vienna/Austria.
He also organized, together with the Worldbank, a Minister Conference “A coalition for Africa” and worked at Embassies and Consulates in Lagos/Nigeria, Hong Kong, and Tokyo/Japan and as Private Secretary of the Minister for Developing Cooperation.
Before his assignment as Consul General in Toronto he worked for the Ministry of Transportation, Public Works and Water Management as Deputy Director International Affairs.
Johan is married and the proud father of four children, one boy and three girls. He is a soccer fan, likes skating and biking and is very fond of Japanese Sushi en Sashimi.
